Benedict Cumberbatch fans queue round the block to see him in Hamlet as extra tickets sell out in minutes

Have you got tickets to see Benedict Cumberbatch on stage in Hamlet? If you have then you’re one of the lucky ones.

Because a newly released batch of tickets to see the man himself taking on the Prince Of Denmark sold out within minutes ahead of the play’s opening at the Barbican Centre on August 5.

While the production all but sold out shortly after tickets first went on sale in January 2014, the venue is releasing an extra 30 tickets a day for just £10 each.

Which unsurprisingly has proved popular among Benedict’s fans – many of whom were queueing round the block overnight before the box office opened.

According to The Guardian some have even travelled from as far away as Canada, Indonesia and Japan in their bid to bag a ticket.
