Looking forward to basking in more of the glorious heat wave that we experienced a few days ago? Bad news.
It’ll return later this week, but until then we’re in for a few days of unsettled weather.
Heavy and frequent showers will return across most of the country – but are expected to be at their worst in the north and west of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
It will also feel slightly cooler too – with temperatures dropping to a slightly more bearable 20°C, the lowest that the country has seen since the beginning of the heatwave.
And while it be a welcome release for those unable to handle the heat, the warmer climes are set to return as early as Wednesday – with temperatures potentially reaching 29°C by the end of the week.
